The Wedding!

"Sorrow can take care of itself, but joy, to be fully appreciated, must be shared." - Mark Twain

Thanks to all of our friends and family for sharing in our joy!

Okay, so we're actually writing this slightly before the wedding, but here's the plan:

We're headed to the courthouse in Westland to meet up with our friend Jay Blanchard and another witness and have the judge marry us! Becki was able to get something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue, and now we're ready to go!!

After the ceremony, we'll be headed out for breakfast, then Jay is dropping us and our luggage off at the car rental place. By the time you're reading this, we're at least on our way to Miami, Florida, where our cruise sails Saturday afternoon!! (Can you tell I'm so excited I can hardly stand it!! -Becki)

We'll be on our seven day eastern Caribbean cruise/honeymoon until February 25, then stopping to visit Grandma Jessie (Tennessee) and heading home.

By February 27, life will be returning to what will come to be known as 'normal' for Mr. and Mrs. Bayley!

Thanks for reading, and we hope to get together with you soon!

Leave a comment, we can't wait to tell you all about it when we get back!

Welcome Andy!! We are so excited to hear your GREAT news. And this posting is AMAZING!! Where did you find the time with everything else going on? Becki I've never seen you happier and Andy I knew you were the one when I saw your compassionate side through the ordeal with Gloria. Enjoy your wonderful honeymoon and can't wait to see you when you get back.

You both look so happy, I'm so happy for you! What a great picture! I got the Pope's table reserved, can't wait to officially welcome you back home as Mr. & Mrs. Bayley. Love you both!!!!!!

Congrats to both of you! This is defintely an original approach to the whole wedding thing... but those of us that know you would expect nothing less! I am sure that the two of you have indeed found your soul mates - what a happy day!

Now to my questions:

As others have noted, you put a lot of work into this blog - should I check Andy's work cache and cookies to see how much of this I funded ;-) ???

Something borrowed, something blue... I know you dated a long time. Was this Andy's contribution?

OK, seriously you both deserve the happiness you have found together. Enjoy the honeymoon and the rest of your years together!

Congratulations Andy and Becki! I was excited to receive your announcement, though not very surprised. I am very happy for both of you and wish you much happiness. Becki- when you return to work you can just buy me a drink in lieu of a formal wedding and to make up for the week I'm about to have with you off! J/K

Congrats you crazy kids!

Hey Becki and Husband,
how exciting that you two are starting a new life together! I have only known Becki for a few months but that is long enough to see that you are a great person, you are so nice and always willing to help out. I hope you two have an amazing vacation and a life together that dreams are made of:) Thank you so much for thinking of me when sending out the anouncements! What a Beautiful picture. You two look so happy! My only wish for the happy couple is that you will stay as happy as you were on February 16th 2006 all the days of your life.~Congratulations~

Love doesn't make the world go round,
Love is what makes the ride worthwhile.

Congratulations you two! Okay, so I was confused when I read the return address label since I didn't know Andy's last name, but you two are the only Becki and Andy I know, so then I was surprised for all of about 10 seconds. (That is when the fact that I know Becki kicked in and all of the "shock and awe" went out the window.) Becki, after seeing you and Andy together when we were out that night after work, I couldn't imagine a better match for you. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness. By the way, the picture is beautiful!

Hey you two, Jay here. I just wanted to again thank you for including me in your special day and for the card. I love the shot glass and will never be able to forget your anniversary!!! However, I would have preferred the necklace made of teeth (lol). Here's wishing you both all the love, happiness and support that marriage can provide.
By the way it's no fun shining your house when no ones home to scare (Andy)!
